Artifact Reflection

I. What is the artifact from this course?
The artifact I selected from EDL 780 is the Personal and Professional Code of Ethics (PPCE).

II. Why is this artifact selected?
The PPCE was selected because it was the major document produced during this course and represents the first articulation of my ethics.

III. What learning or understanding occurred through the selected artifact?
Articulating my personal and professional ethics forced me consider the most important characteristics that guide me as a human.

IV. In what ways (personally and/or professionally) are you different as a result of this learning or understanding?
This artifact is not so much about effecting a change personally or professionally, but rather an instrument that focuses attention instead on finding out who the person really is. Once that learning is finished, it serves to support evidence for change with the other artifacts collected in this portfolio.
